What Can My Money Do?

My purpose is to assist women in their efforts to have more improved lives and develop their skills in their business or employment. I am well-known in the non-profit and business worlds internationally, but I also have access to facilitating online mentorship in 14 different countries, including Bolivia, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, India, Honduras, and El Salvador. And speaking of small business owners, most of them have been single moms with something in common-they need your and my support.

How Can I Help?

The way you can help is by making a donation of support through Soniathomas.com. Through my travels, I have been made aware of all their needs and am determined to assist them, whether it be to get them a computer, facilitate trainings for the business-minded, or help single moms understand the business world.

If you'd like to donate to the cause of women throughout the world, please consider the options below and select one or more opportunities to help them be successful in their homes, families, marketing, and businesses. Be sure to stay in touch with this website as over time we will be establishing connections with more women you might want to assist.

Become a Sponsor for any of the following international projects:

You want to be part in making a better world by giving a small contribution to business women in poverty. These talented ladies are (or want to be) small business owners. Some of them are single moms and are trying to provide for the family without a husband's support. The groups of ladies are diverse based on the country, from young single moms to HIV young women, etc. They have big dreams but no resources.

Most of these projects are in collaborations with local non-profits. These organizations have requested Sonia's participation but these groups don't have enough resources. In some of these countries, the ladies were the ones who requested Sonia's visit.

We all make donations. Sonia does not only donate her time but when she can, she pays part of the cost of the total project. Sonia's work will include speaking, giving workshops, one-on-one business-marketing mentoring and other activities. They will learn many things; most of them need training with free marketing ideas, sales tools, so they can become self reliant to be able to provide for themselves and their families. They have great business ideas but they need a plan, direction and encouragement.

Here is a list of international projects scheduled for 2012 that we need sponsors:

First 4 months
Sonia in Guatemala - 3 days - $584
Sonia in Bolivia - 3 days - $811

Middle of the year
Sonia in Panama - 3 days - $721
Sonia in Costa Rica - 3 days - $719

Last 3 months of the year
Sonia in India - 5 days $1,230

Other countries that have requested Sonia's visits are:

Honduras, El Salvador, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Peru and Chile.

These are the amounts that we still need to collect before February 25, 2013 to make the ladies' dreams a reality.

Please connect with me! Become our Sponsor and Make a Difference in Someone's Life. As a Sponsor you will be notified of the projects progress. Give, because you really care.

Your donation means giving them opportunities to grow as people.

A PIONEER, A VISIONARY, A POWERFUL SOURCE:

At age twelve, she was selling Avon products to pay her high school expenses. At eighteen, she was the owner of her own magazine. In 1997 she had an Internet company in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There were many challenges that followed her successful beginning. In 1998, she was in a rock climbing accident that left her paralyzed in bed for a few months. Upon a thorough recovery, she now considers herself fortunate to have been thrust into this early experience as it developed critical survival instincts. At the time, nothing came easily for her; she learned to make good use of such experiences, to grow stronger, to pump up her adrenalin in the face of obstacles. Because of these and more, she has become skilled at constantly seeking opportunities to serve people in lesser situations than her own. Those who know her well call her unstoppable.
